In 1976 I attended the Kootenay School of Art in Nelson, British Columbia. After graduating I worked doing production, graphic design and illustration. I moved to California in 1983 and for the last 30 years have focused exclusively on illustration.

I have had the good fortune to have illustrated many books, including the award-winning The Wild Muir-Twenty-two of John Muir’s Greatest Adventures (Yosemite Association) as well as a series of books excerpted from the Bible called People of the Book Series (International Bible Society). I have also done product and corporate work along with the publishing and editorial assignments for many diverse clients partially listed below.

As well, I completed a 20+ illustration installation for the new Old Faithful Visitor Education Center at Yellowstone National Park which opened in August of 2010.

Moving to Colorado in 2003, I now call McElmo Canyon in the Four Corners area home.
